This weekend, Leo attended a Boy Scout flag dedication at Cass Park. The flag
pole was a special project of Eagle Scout candidate Andrew Switzer. Andrew held a car wash to raise funds, and organizerd
the construction of the pole at Cass Park, which previously had no flag. The ceremony was attended by many scouts along
with their families. Leo enjoyed helping Andrew find the location and get the necessary approvals to make his project
a reality. Good luck, Andrew!
Farmer's Market. Meat Pie, anyone ??

On Saturday, the Northern Rhode Island Council of the Arts sponsored
the annual French Farmer's Market which brought people down to River Island Park for great French music, food, and all
sorts of items from a number of vendors at the event. Leo was asked to be a judge at the French Meat Pie contest held
by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council. Leo spent the rest of the day speaking to many of the visitors at the
park. A little drizzle didn't keep folks away and a good time was had by all.
